I'm sorry to hear that someone you know has throat cancer and that they have lost a lot of weight in the process. It must be a very difficult and challenging time for you both but I'm sure they really appreciate your support and having you by their side on this journey.

We have a section on our website about what financial support they may be entitled to, but for further information and advice it may be worth getting in touch with Macmillan as they have financial advisers that can assist you further.

Hopefully some of our members will offer their thoughts and advice to you soon but in the meantime, we're sending you all our support and I hope some of these tips we have for putting on weight and managing diet problems will be useful as well.
