As we settle into the new year, Cancer Research UK continues to progress in its work to improve cancer outcomes and help save lives.
If you’re interested in doing something different this year, you’ll be sure to find something through CRUK patient involvement where you can share your knowledge, experience, and ideas for improvement.
Whether you want to be a member of one of the panels or participate in a one-off survey or focus group, there are lots of chances to get involved.
When we post on the forum about patient involvement, it might leave you with questions on what these panels are and the people in them. So to give you an idea, why not meet Sarifa? She is one of the lovely members of the Research & Strategy Cancer Insights Panel and in her profile Sarifa talks about being diagnosed with breast cancer and what it’s like be a panel member.
Currently, the Patient Advisory Panel is looking for 8 new members, but there’ll be more where that came from so keep an eye out for opportunities that need the input of people affected by cancer.
Thank you.
