Ovarian Cancer & Spread to Bowel

Hi 

I'm 33 years old and 2 weeks ago, following a colonoscopy, I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in the sigmoid. 

Following this, I have had biopsies, the camera down, a CT scan, an MRI scan, an iron infusion and bloods. I've now been advised the primary cancer is ovarian which has spread. 

Practitioners keep saying 'you're so young' but that changes nothing, I still have cancer. 

I'm due to meet my Gynaecologist tomorrow and wondered what treatment has been offered to anyone else in my position  

  • Welcome to the forum Pablo although I'm sorry to hear your ovarian cancer has spread to your bowel.

    You must be contending with a lot of thoughts and emotions right now, but our community are here for you Pablo, and I'm sure it won't be long until some of our members stop by to offer their support and advice.
