  • Hi Walks01, just wanted to wish you all the best with your treatment. I've read several threads on here from women with TNBC - they've likely got some good advice for you. I'm about to start radiotherapy for breast cancer and have been really heartened by the speed of treatment and the support available. Take care xxx

  • I was diagnosed on Tuesday , personally once all my tests have been done and I have a treatment plan I feel loads better. I was anxious terrified mess last week. I tried to keep myself busy. Once the shock subsided (im 35 with a baby and a toddler) im in fight mode now. Sending prayers - I have idbc and have lymph node involvement

  • Thanks so much for your reply, I'm the same, when a treatment plan is in place and I know the extent of involvement I'll feel a bit more prepared for what's ahead. I am 38 with three children aged 13, 8 and 4.

We can beat this 100% ️

  • Hi,

I was also diagnosed with TNBC back in March so I understand what your going through. Waiting for test results and the not knowing was awful. Mine is stage 3, luckily the CT scan showed it hadn't spread into my bones or other organs. My treatment plan involves chemo/immunotherapy and surgery. I started treatment today. All I can say is if your struggling, unable to eat, sleep etc speak to your doctor, I got anxiety tablets and they really helped me. The breast care nurses having given amazing support, always there to answer any questions or there if you need to talk. Immunotherapy along side chemo to treat breast cancer has only been offered at my hospital since this year so this maybe something you could be offered as it's been a big success in trials for TNBC. I wish you all the best with your treatment xx
