Whether you have cancer or caring for someone who does, it can be difficult to get past your own thoughts and be more present.

Your mental health is affected by all aspects of life; your environment, finances and career, as well as your physical and emotional state, so it’s never been more important to look after yourself.

  • I have been diagnosed with Invasive breast. cancer, which had already spread to my lymph nodes, It is very difficult for me, I am now feeling that so many weeks have passed without any further treatment, I worry it is back,

    I am due to start Chemotherapy on the 18th of September, but I had to persuade my Oncologist to at least try the treatment, he was not happy for me to have any Chemotherapy, Is my outlook bleak? I am fighting for my wellbeing, for my life back, for my soul, My wellbeing has played a very big role, in my attitude to my diagnosis, I have to stay positive I have to remain calm, I have to be strong for my family who means a great deal to me I realise that my will to survive has to be greater than any treatment, smile when you are sad, or scared, or troubled, look towards your future, with hope, God Willing,
