Suspected SCC - what will happen at my dermatology appointment this weekend?

Hi.
I went to the GP - though my appointment was with an ANP - last week regarding a suspicious mole.  From looking at images online I'm fairly certain it's a SCC.  The nurse sent a picture to dermatology and within 24 hours I had received an invite for a dermatology appointment this weekend.

I was told the initial appointment is just a consultation, but I assumed they would either remove part or all of the mole for a biopsy? Can anyone confirm what happened at their appointment? Also, if it is confirmed to be SCC, or any other type of skin cancer, will they check all other moles, or will they just do tests to see if it has spread elsewhere?

Thanks
