Suspected malignant melanoma

Hi, I have an appointment with the dermatology for suspected malignant melinoma on the side of my left little toe, I have just noticed it has came off, there is dry skin round the sides we're it has been and it look slightly pink we're it has been, should I still go to the appointment or is it nothing to be worried about now? Thanks

    We cannot say whether or not you need to cancel your appointment with the dermatologist, as we are not involved in your care. Only a doctor who can assess you can say whether or not further tests are needed.

    It might be worth calling the dermatology department, as there may be someone there who can advise you, or your GP may be able to help.

    I am sorry we cannot be more helpful, and hope you can get some advice soon.
