I'm scared about the outcome - 6 months after treatment I've had another CT scan and due a telephone consultation tomorrow

I had my bladder my lymph nodes and prostate removed 6 months ago and I've had one CT SCAN and the result I got at the time said there was no sign of spread but a lymph gland was swollen but the doctor was not concerned now 6 months later I've been for another CT on Thursday last week and I got a text from the Dr saying I have a telephone consultation tomorrow and I'm really scared about the outcome and what he is going to say

    I am sorry to hear about the treatment you have had in the past year for cancer.

    It is common for people to be very anxious when having follow up scans following cancer treatment. The uncertainty of what will or won't show up can be overwhelming and often brings on so many thoughts and emotions.

    I am not sure whether you have had your telephone appointment with your doctor as yet today but I hope it goes well and that all is well.
