Lletz - waiting for follow up appointment but have experienced bleeding during intercourse. Is this normal?

I hope you can help me please I have been in prison for the last year and last October I had the the lettz procedure done which showed CIN3 this extended to all areas but was a large area and taken in 3 separate pieces unfortunately the prison did not take me for my 6 month follow up appointment and now I'm out I'm waiting for an appointment at my local hospital. I'm alittle concerned as I've just seen my husband for the first time in 13 months and during inter course I'm getting a small amount of bleeding is this normal because we haven't had inter course for 13months or is it something to do with the lettz. The bleeding does not continue only during inter course

    Often after a LLetz things can feel different during sex, both physically and emotionally.

    You may be bleeding during sex because of the LLetz procedure you had done, and hopefully it will improve. It is worth letting the team know at the hospital when you go for your follow-up appointment.

    If you are having to wait a while for the appointment and continue to bleed, then it is best to check with your GP so they can assess you.
