  • Hello and thanks for posting

I'm sorry to read about your situation. This sounds like a very difficult time for you.

Symptoms can be linked to a number of things, and it doesn't necessarily mean that there's something wrong with your bone marrow. After chemotherapy, some people experience long term side effects like nerve pain, muscle weakness, fatigue and joint pain.

The best thing to do is to contact your specialist team at the hospital or your GP. They can assess you and advise you on what needs to happen next. They can also prescribe pain medication to manage your pain and improve your comfort. If you have a specialist nurse (CNS) involved in your care then perhaps they can provide you with further information. You often have to call and leave them a message and they will get back to you.

I hope this is of some use. Give us a ring if you would like to talk anything over. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Kind Regards,

    Celene
