Just a reminder that the GP is your primary care provider. I forgot this when we were left bewildered by the hospital...secondary care .

I mistakenly thought that it was one step at a time .GP first , hospital 2nd .When the consultant said that they couldn't do anything , we didn't think to go back to the GP. So glad we were reminded that Primary care was more important now and they've been so very helpful and more person oriented. Seems hospital is for the disease , GP for the patient. That's been our experience and I know that we are extremely fortunate .
