I have renal cancer which I know can affect your eyes my eyes are constantly watering now it’s they are very bad if I drink . When I wake up they are stuck together with sleep. Is there anything to help it
Hi Clare37 why don’t you ask for some eye drops. My treatment makes my eyes stream all the time sometimes I can’t see, so the oncology Pharmacist prescribes eye drop. Mine are called Viscotears but there are likely many others you can try
I am sorry to learn of your situation, this must be a difficult time.
I was unsure what your situation is and if you are having treatment. Some cancer treatments can cause watery eyes. On our website page abouteyes and cancer drugs there is information about how to manage watery eyes, which may be useful.
The best person to discuss this with would be your GP or your cancer nurse specialist as they may be able to prescribe medication such as eye drops to help with this.
