Re: Films about cancer?

Life as a House: stars Kevin Kline as a man dying of terminal cancer. The story follows him and his rebellious teenage son, played by Hayden Christensen, as they build a house and rebuild their relationship.

The Bucket List: Stars Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. The story is about two terminally ill men escape from a cancer ward and head off on a road trip with a wish list of to-dos before they die.

Stepmom: stars Julia Roberts as a reluctant stepmother to Susan Sarandon's two children. When Sarandon's character is diagnosed with terminal cancer Roberts' character struggles to become full-time mom.

Wit: stars Emma Thompson as a professor diagnosed with terminal cancer. The film is an extremely intimate and unflinching look at cancer treatment.

My Life: stars Michael Keaton as a man diagnosed with terminal lung cancer who tries to a put a lifetime of advice into a single video for his unborn son.

Love Story: stars Ryan O'Neal and Ali McGraw as lovers from different backgrounds. The two marry after strong opposition from O'Neal's character's father, only to see McGraw's character diagnosed with leukaemia at a young age.

Terms of Endearment: stars Shirley MacLaine and Debra Winger as mother and daughter with a tense relationship that undergoes further stress when Winger's character is diagnosed with terminal cancer.
