- Hi, I live in North London with my partner and teenage daughter. I used to manage charities and was doing a masters in social work when I was first diagnosed. I had to give up the course because of the onerous nature of the treatment. Now not sure what to do. I was diagnosed with anal cancer, stage 3B in February 2011. Treated with 28 days of chemotherapy and radiation therapy in April/May 2011. No evidence of disease December 2011. Remaining side effects - some bowel issues, some soreness but still improving.
