- Hello everyone. I am 67 and have recently been diagnosed with ovarian ca and am having fluid removed from abdo cavity tomorrow to enable a safe CT biopsy on Friday. This is to ascertain whether the ovaries are the primary site or mets from the breast ca I had 15 years ago. I have been reading the posts on the ovarian ca chat site recently, and felt encouraged but scared of what's ahead . The breast ca treatment seems to have been a doddle (operation, chemo and radiotherapy over 6 months) compared to this! My best wishes to everyone, Hazel.
