- I am here supporting my wife who had ovarian cancer diagnosed in November 2010, had full pelvic clearance surgery including splenectomy in December, 2010 and had an 18 week chemo program ending mid May 2011. TaxolCarbo "Dose-Dense" Japanese regimen. Responded very well to this, but 8 months later in Feb 2012 a CT scan revealed it is back, Gem/Carbo course started on 1st March 2012.
