Hello,
It is the first time i have used this site. I guess i have tried to cope mainly on my own since being diagnosed in Oct 2011 and right now could do with some moral support. Im 38 and have a 2 1/2 year old daughter. I have been diagnosed with anaplastic thyroid cancer that has metastisised to lymph nodes, brain and lung. Had 3 cycles of chemotherapy and radiotherapy and i have more cancer than i started with. Beginning to lose hope. I have to fight this for my daughter because she is my world.Ex partner has been supportive but being on my own i just guess i need more. Just how do you prepare yourself for dying??? Im fighting all the way.
Hi Jackisa,
I'm so sorry to read that you are going through such a terrible and frightening time.
There are some lovely supportive people on here, many of whom are going through similar things to you.
I hope someone will be along soon to chat.
Here's a link to our section on our information website about coping with cancer. You might find some of the information useful.
Very best wishes to you,

Hi Jackisa,
I really don't know what to say but want to say something!!??
I'm afraid I've no real idea what you're going through as my cancer experience was losing my Dad to the evil disease, but what I do know is that just talking can be supprtive, and with strangers you don't need to worry about how they're taking it, so I'd say get writing about anything and everything that your feeling!!!! Have you thought about setting up a blog???
Aaaaarrrggghhhh!!! This all feels so inadequate however I hope you take it in the spirit that it's meant.
My thoughts of encouragement and support are with you!!
((((Hugs))))
