Welcome to Ask The Nurses - Now on Wednesdays

Stop Press....From next week, 18th April the Nurse Q&A sessions will be held on Wednesdays. Everything else stays the same and if you can't make it to the live session which is between 2.00pm and 3.00pm you can post a question anytime in the Ask the nurses topic area

Every Wednesday between 2.00pm and 3.00pm we will be running a regular Q&A session with the Cancer Research Nurses.

If you have a question you can start a new discussion at any time or you can come along and post live on the day and the Nurses will do their best to answer your question as soon as they can.

You'll need to register on Cancer Chat to post a question. If you're already a member, simply sign in and you're ready to go!

Don't forget this is a public forum, so any question you ask and the answers we provide can be seen by anyone looking at Cancer Chat.

Our nurses are here to help you, but remember this is not a substitute to going to your doctor, find out more about what the nurses can and can’t do and you can also read more about who the nurses are here

During the live chat sessions the nurses will need time to read, research and type a response, so please be patient. It may look like nothing is happening but the nurses will be working as fast as they can to post responses

Please don't be too disappointed if your specific question doesn't get answered during the live Q&A session. With the best will in the world, the nurses may not be able to answer every question in the time available, however, you can contact them directly on our freephone helpline 0808 800 4040 or through the contact form directly after.

We would really like to know what you think of this service so we will be posting a link to a brief Survey at the end of each live session, or you can send us comments on our feedback form

If you have any ideas for future live Q&A sessions, maybe you would like to ask questions about our research or fundraising events? Please let us know
