Happy Birthday Moonbeam

Hey folks,

I'm sure we would all like to pass on our Happy Birthday wishes to this particularly lovely lady who's birthday it is on Fri 13th, it's a "special" one to, think about 21 plus vat.

Have a great day, catch up with you soon, not too much birthday cake though, you have a goal to achieve, to be in Scotland in March - I'm holding you to that one.

Re: Happy Birthday Moonbeam

Hello Moonbeam,

I'd just like to join the virtual celebrations and wish you a very happy birthday. In fact, I just ate a massive piece of chocolate cake for lunch. I was feeling a bit guilty about it, but now I know there was a good reason behind it! Have you got any exciting plans for tonight?

Thanks and hope you enjoyed the cake

We went out for dinner at Dundrum Dog Racing stadium             had a lovely dinner and then enjoyed the racing

my neice had our table decked out with all the 50 year baloons and banners         and  she had bought cup cakes with happy birthday Mo on them and candles in each one    it was so unusual and they were lovely too

had a lovely night     thanks for the comments

Sounds like you had a fun time! And... most important question, did your dog win?

Re: Happy Birthday Moonbeam

Hi Moonbeam

I read your post earlier about you having a complex kidney cyst. I was told 3 years ago that mine was a small simple one-after the pain continuing to get worse in abdomen back and side i have finally been given another scan. now been told it is a complex cyst of 5cm.Feel annoyed that I wasnt given a follow up after the scan 3 years ago. was told it wouldnt be causing my problems as so common and harmless -obv it wasnt what they thought it was. So very worried as it has grown plus is odd shape and has calcification in it. Did you have any pains with yours? Could they tell it was malignant from the ct scan or did you need a biopsy. Do they remove the cyst or the whole kidney? I am now waiting to have a ct scan and to see a urinologist.

Thanks

Re: Happy Birthday Moonbeam

hello Nigela

im sorry that you are still waiting to see whats what        fortunately at work i had been paying into a private healt scheme and was able to go private to get my scan and see my consultant

i have just had the 'all clear' this week               at first it was like a great weight off my shoulder but at the moment im feeling slightly numb         dont ask me whats wrong i dont know myself         i am having marital problems  and my husband was not there for me i guess i have just let everything build up in me and its like a large balloon letting out the air    very slowly  but getting there

yes i had painds all over   my back my side   dont get me wrong   even though i have had my full kidney removed i still have pains in my side and back          i have discs out in my sping and other spinal issues so i guess the pain is here to stay

i understand your annoyance its not fail  when it comes to health issues like cancer i really do feel that the goverment could be doing more for us  there are too many people out there full of worries and having to wait long periods of time inbetween treatment or consultations etc         its disgraceful     im just lucky that i was able to avail of some private treatment which made things quicker.

i thinks that cysts are too easliy put aside as if they are nothing            and then they do turn out to be bad    its not right that people have to be put through all of this      i wish there was something i could do

listen easier said than done   but please try not to worry       and we are always here to help if needed

take care             Moonbeam
