mammogram Recall !!

Hi there, I just had my second Mammogram after finishing treatment for Breast Cancer (finished in 2006) - and they have asked me to come back as they have seen something that wasnt there last time - on my other breast !! They say it is faint and calcification - they said that last time and it was cancer - seems like deju vue to me and am petrified they are going to say i have it on the other breast now - has anyone else had this happen , and it was nothing to worry about?  as much as i am trying to think positive about this - i have this dreadful feeling !!         ........     and i think i might just run away !! lol

Re: mammogram Recall !!

Hi Cazza01, Just to let you know that after having breast cancer I too got a recall about 2 years after wards.  It turned out to be a fatty lump that dispersed itself about 18 months after they found it.  They also found a haziness which was also on the other breast and that too finally went about 2 years after.  They said it was hormonal. I know exactly how you feel.  I broke down when I got the recall and went to **** and back  until I found out it was all okay.  Im sure it will all turn out o.k. for you.  Just hang on in there and if you need to talk just get in touch.  What  you are feeling is fully understandable and the fear you feel is because of what you have gone through already Keep us posted.Big hugs. Bubbles.
