Re: throat cancer symptoms

I went to my doctors some time ago with symptons in my throat whereby I felt I had on a good day a chicken bone in my throat, on a bad day a gobstopper.  I had an endoscopy and that detected a problem with my oespagus, which can be corrected, stil undergoing various tests.  The only advice I can give you is do not let the doctors fob you off, as you know your body better than anyone else, and if not happy with the outcome insist for a second opinion.  If there is anything to be concerned about, better it is discovered early rather than four months down the line.

Good luck

If only more people thought and acted like you! Absolutely right that early diagnosis is the key....

Like you also said it may only be a throat infection but better to get it sorted either way. I guess your appointment is pretty soon so good luck with that and let us know what the outcome is and how you are feeling.

All the very best.
