Hi everyone.  In the nurse topic area, we are going to try out locking the threads once the conversation seems to have stopped.  This will ensure that when one of you has a new question for us, you start a new thread, rather than tagging it on to an old one by mistake.  This will make it easier for us to see the questions we need to answer.  We won't be changing the way things are done on the rest of the site though.

It’s over a year since we began the regular nurse Q&A sessions here on Cancer Chat. This weekly feature has now become so popular we thought it was about time we gave the nurses their own topic area. From now on you can post your question for the nurses here in the Ask The Nurses topic area

To make it easier for everyone to find their posts and make it easier to read, please start a new discussion thread for each question.

The nurses will be online every Wednesday between 2.00pm and 3.00pm but if you can't make it on Wednesday, please post your question in the Ask The Nurses topic area and the Nurses will endeavor to answer your question as soon as they can

Don't forget this isn't an emergency service and the nurses can't diagnose you through the forum.  So if you need help urgently contact the emergency services.  And talking to us is not a substitute for accessing medical care.  You can read more about what we can offer and our policies here
